Omg today was RI community day. We had to go perform for the old people. i think it was AWWA or sumthing, the name. so first up was kanon by ensemble 1. we sorta split up during the 3-hr rehearsal earlier lolz. i was in ensemble 2. after the piece was played, they filed out and we walked in. it was eine kline (i think is liddat, correct me pls). after was 'lao shu ai da mi', with ben wee and shangxuan singing (omg their voices were like stiff and coarse lar lol) then it was 'yue liang dai biao wo di xin' by ensemble 2, with me and Jon Shin singing (wow....lolz) the ensemble sort of screwed up at some place while we went 'ni wen...wo ai....ni you...duo shen....wo ai...etc. so after that was 'xiao cheng gu shi'. nvr heard that before, but at least the old ppl started to wave their hands. (they were actually waving when we were singing 'yue liang dai biao wo di xin' lolz hehe xD) i had to like chiong back, take my violin, and run back again. this time like sitting at the back...so much easier to screw up.

lolz and that was when we did. like there was a quaver rest, but ppl just came in on the downbeat anw. it went so bad that we had to tell them 'wo men chong lai' and repeated from the start omg lols. so after that i still screwed up cuz the person in front wasnt in time. like the bar ended liao he still playing third beat. wow. anyway picked myself up in time lar.

and i only sang 'yue liang dai biao wo di xin' cuz im more familiar with it. like for the 'xiao cheng gu shi', i was darn OUT OF TUNE like wad? a third lower/ higher than the scores.

so school apart, life. hmm still in limbo...lingering between the different worlds...but anyway. juz hope for a better tomorrow. when will we become steads?
